Welcome to Caerleon RFC Petanque Club's official website.
Caerleon RFC Petanque Club was established in 2005, and is affiliated to the Welsh Petanque Association. We have teams playing in both the WPA Welsh League and the local Boules in Gwent (BiG) League - and Club players have represented Wales and Great Britain in major competitions.
We are a competitive but friendly club: old and new players are very welcome to come along for a game. Petanque is a game that can be played by men and women, older people and children on an equal footing - so come to a Friday melee and give it a try. Boules can be borrowed from the club.

The Monkstone have a shiny new website - joining us in the Beehive. well done William on getting the site up and running.
Herve Bavazzano is organising an Open British Singles and Mixed Doubles Chapionships at the Swan in Letton. There will be some very good teams going along so its a great chance for some good competition. See Fixture Page for more info.

the final round of Cup for Clubs is this Sunday at Abergavenny.
***update - GRAND PRIX SERIES
The 3rd grand Prix is confrimed for 11th April - and the WPA website has been updated to reflect this change of date.
PRACTICE SESSIONS
these are discontiued for the time being as the boules season hits us.
BiG LEAGUE PRESENTATION
Another successful event was held on Saturday 30th January at the ROF and the RFC came home with many a shiny cup! A report will be posted on the News page in due course...
